Daniel Lark began his career in the building industry in 2006, working with a small local builder in the Blue Mountains. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience across a wide range of projects, from new homes and cottages to extensions and renovations.
He went on to take on leadership roles across high-rise and commercial projects in the Northern Territory, later managing multi-residential and new home builds, as well as overseeing operations as Construction Manager for a steel fabrication company.
Before founding Active Build in 2018, Daniel worked as a Project Manager for a residential builder on the Central Coast, delivering projects throughout the Newcastle region. His approach remains the same today, combining experience, foresight, and genuine care to deliver high-quality builds that stand the test of time.
Lachlan began his apprenticeship in 2020 and joined the Active Build team in 2021. After completing his apprenticeship with us, he’s continued to grow into a highly skilled and valued member of the team.
Lachlan brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a well-rounded set of carpentry and construction skills that make him an asset on every project.
Jake brings several years of experience in fine joinery and craftsmanship.
He recently joined the Active Build team to broaden his skillset, contributing his attention to detail and passion for quality workmanship across a range of projects.
Lewis joined Active Build in 2018 shortly after completing his apprenticeship. Between travelling the world, he’s continued to return to the team, growing his skills and taking on greater responsibility in a leading hand role.
His experience and easygoing nature make him a trusted and valued part of every project.
Jack is a skilled carpenter with several years of experience and a strong background in both carpentry and concreting.
His practical knowledge and hands-on approach strengthen the team’s capabilities and complement the diverse skill set within Active Build.
